The Real Problem

It's not the algorithm.
It's not your camera.
It's that nobody taught you the craft.

You've thought about starting for months. Maybe years. You've watched a hundred videos about "how to go viral." You might have even posted a few times — and watched them die at 200 views.

So you told yourself the algorithm buried you. Or you started too late. Or people like you don't become creators.

Here's the truth: the creators you watch every day aren't luckier than you. They understand something you don't yet — why a viewer stays, why they leave, and how to build a video around that. It's a craft. And a craft can be learned.

The gap between you and them isn't talent. It's a system.

Why Listen To Me

Four years ago, I was you.

I was sitting at an office desk during Covid, watching other people live the life I wanted. I had no audience, no filming experience, and no idea what I was doing.

What I had was a decision: treat this like a craft, not a lottery. Study why videos work. Get 1% better every single upload. Post, learn, repeat — 300+ times.

"Nobody handed me a system. I had to build one, one failed video at a time. You get to skip that part."

These two books are that system. Not theory from someone who read about it — the actual process I use on every video I publish today.

"I'd been posting for a year with nothing to show for it. The hook formula alone changed everything — I stopped guessing and my views followed. Three months later I hit a number I'd been chasing for years."

"The long form book made me realise my videos were dying at minute two and exactly why. I restructured one old idea using the storytelling chapters and it became my first video to properly take off."

"No fluff, no recycled advice. It reads like Harry sat down and told you everything over a coffee. I finally have one format I can repeat — and posting stopped feeling like a lottery."

Inside The Books

Every chapter earns its place.

No padding, no filler stories about someone else's success. Each chapter is a piece of the system, in the order you'll use it.

Book 01 — The Short Form Playbook
Find Your Lane Niche
Who your audience actually is, why they're on the platform, and the four circles: what you love, what you're good at, what the audience wants, what you can contribute.
Blue To Red Viewers Growth
The attention ladder: how a casual scroller becomes a loyal fan — and how to farm one red viewer at a time instead of chasing viral spikes.
One Format That Compounds Formats
Why a library of one repeatable format beats random uploads, how to build yours, and the 10-creator audit for studying outliers in your niche.
Hook & Payoff Storytelling
The two ingredients of every short that works, with breakdowns of my top-performing shorts — and the 60-second storyline template.
The Machine: Film Once, Publish Ten Times Workflow
The exact strip-down workflow that turns one filming day into ten pieces of content across every platform.
The Platform Playbook Distribution
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Shorts — what works where, captions, music, scheduling, and setting up your profiles to actually get paid.
Book 02 — The Long Form Engine
The Creator Operating System Mindset
Vision and standards, kaizen — 1% better per upload across 300 videos — treating it like a business from day one, and facing failure without quitting.
The Formula Foundations
Watch time, CTR, authenticity — the three levers that decide whether a video lives or dies, and how to pull each one.
Engineering Luck Ideas
The law of averages, walking the market three times, and the three questions I ask before committing to filming any idea.
Storytelling That Holds Attention Storytelling
Three-act structure applied to real uploads, open loops and unresolved questions, and the bear analogy — sustaining engagement past minute three.
Film It Filming
The principles of capturing enough story on location so the video exists in the footage — not just in your head.
Packaging: Titles & Thumbnails Packaging
Curiosity-first titles ("I went", "I found", "I was wrong" — never judgment), the 3-element thumbnail rule, and honest clickbait that doesn't overpromise.
Reading The Numbers Performance
Typical performance, average view duration, when to swap a thumbnail — how to review every upload and get better each time.
The Books

Pick your path. Or take both.

Short form is how strangers find you. Long form is how they start to care. The system needs both — but start where you are.

System 01 — Business Class Without Paying For The Seats
Earn Avios on hotels you were booking anyway Step 1
Download the free Avios app. Before booking any hotel on Agoda or Booking.com, go through the Avios portal first — it redirects you, you book as normal, same price. Up to 10 points per £1, sometimes 20. £1,000 of hotels = 10,000–20,000 Avios.
Get the Avios app →AD — REFERRAL
Turn everyday spending into points with Revolut Step 2
RevPoints transfer out to real airline programmes — Avios, Flying Blue, Qatar, Turkish and more. On Ultra I earn 1 point per £1 on normal spending and 10 points per £1 on Uber. A £100 Uber = 1,000 points.
Get Revolut →AD — REFERRAL
Find the seats on seats.aero Step 3
Free website that scans award availability across programmes. Real examples: Johannesburg → Doha in Qatar business for 45,000 points. London → Bangkok on BA for 90,000 Avios plus taxes.
The two rules Rules
Never redeem for economy — short-haul is what money is for; points are for the long-haul seat you would never buy with cash. And never spend more than you were already going to spend. The moment you buy things to earn points, you have lost the game.
System 02 — Top-Tier Airline Status Without Flying
Get Accor Gold free with the Amex Platinum Step 1
The UK Platinum includes Accor ALL Gold status — you just enrol on the card's benefits page. Two minutes.
Amex Platinum →AD — REFERRAL
Match it through Kenya Airways Step 2
Kenya Airways (via statusmatch.com) matches Accor Gold to Asante Platinum — SkyTeam Elite Plus, the top tier of the whole alliance. $299, lasts 12 months, one match per person. That means lounge access, SkyPriority and extra baggage across KLM, Air France, MEA, China Eastern, Saudia, Korean Air and the rest.
Move fast: status matches close when too many people use them. Check it's still live before paying. The Platinum has a £650 annual fee — the maths works if you'll use the travel benefits. Credit subject to status.
System 03 — The Hilton Setup (And My Maldives Plan)
Gold status instantly via Amex Platinum Step 1
The Platinum includes Hilton Honors Gold — enrol on the benefits page. Free breakfast at most hotels outside the US (US hotels give a food & drink credit), room upgrades when available, and an 80% points bonus on every stay.
The Hilton debit card Step 2
£150 a year. I got 20,000 points immediately, plus another 30,000 and 5 elite nights after £2,500 of foreign-currency spend — which travel does for you. Up to 55,000 bonus points with my code HJAAZY at sign-up.
Hilton debit card →AD — REFERRAL
The 5th night free Step 3
Book four nights on points and the fifth is free on standard reward stays — the single biggest lever in the programme, and how five nights at the Conrad Maldives becomes realistic on points alone. Always book direct with Hilton; points and status don't count through Booking.com or Expedia.
System 04 — The AI Money-Leak Tracker
Connect Claude to your Gmail Step 1
I built mine in Claude (claude.ai) using the Gmail connector — Settings → Connectors → Gmail. You approve exactly what it can read, and you can revoke it any time. Never paste card numbers or passwords into any chat.
Paste this prompt Step 2
You are my money-leak tracker. You have access to my Gmail — search it before asking me anything. 1 — SUBSCRIPTIONS. Search my email for receipts, invoices, "your trial", "renewal". Build a table: service, monthly cost, annual cost, renewal date, free trial and the date it converts. Show my total monthly and annual spend at the top. 2 — CARD REWARDS. I'll tell you my cards (Amex, Revolut). Build a checklist of every active offer: value, expiry, done box. When I say "tick [reward]", mark it complete. 3 — POINTS. Table of my airline and credit card points: programme, balance, expiry, action needed. RULES: anything expiring within 14 days goes at the top in bold. Start every chat with what needs action this week. Be blunt about things I clearly don't use.
Run it monthly: tell it what changed, tick off rewards as you use them. The first run is the shocking one.
Free Tool 01

The Money-Leak Tracker.

It found subscriptions I'd forgotten I was paying for, reminds me before free trials convert, and watches my card rewards and airline points. Built in Claude in twenty minutes.

Step 1 — Connect your AI to Gmail

In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Gmail. You approve exactly what it can read, and you can revoke it any time. Never paste card numbers or passwords into any chat.

Step 2 — Paste this prompt

Step 3 — Run it monthly

Come back to the same chat once a month, tell it what changed, and tick off rewards as you use them. The first run is the shocking one — mine found things I'd been paying for without knowing.

The rewards side works best when your spending is on a card that earns points — that's the Revolut system in the Free Systems tab.
Free Tool 02

The Aircraft Check.

The one rule from my business class series: research the aircraft, not the airline. Thirty seconds before you book is the difference between a Qsuite and a seat from 2010.

Paste this before you book anything

Works in Claude or ChatGPT. Fill in the flight, read the verdict, then book — or don't.

Before I book this flight, check the aircraft for me: [AIRLINE + FLIGHT NUMBER or ROUTE + DATE]. Tell me: 1. Which aircraft type is scheduled on this flight. 2. What the business class seat on that aircraft is actually like — layout (1-2-1 vs 2-2-2), direct aisle access, fully flat or not, and roughly how old the product is. 3. Whether this airline runs more than one cabin type on this route, and how to tell which one I'm getting. 4. One-line verdict: book it, or find a different flight/day with the better aircraft. Be blunt. If the seat is bad, say so.

Why this matters

Emirates runs a bar and a shower on the A380 — and a middle seat in business on the 777. Air India's new A350 competes with the Gulf carriers while its old fleet is a time machine. Same airline, same route, completely different flight. The aircraft decides your experience, and the airline won't warn you.

Free Tool 03

The Award Seat Scout.

For when you've got points and don't know how to spend them well. Pairs with seats.aero — the prompt tells you exactly what to search for.

Paste this with your points and route

I have [NUMBER] points in [PROGRAMMES — e.g. Avios, RevPoints] and I want to fly [ORIGIN] to [DESTINATION] in business class around [DATES / MONTH]. Tell me: 1. Which airlines and alliances my points can actually book, including transfer partners. 2. A realistic points price for this route, and which programme is the sweet spot to book through. 3. The taxes and surcharges I should expect per airline — flag any that are notoriously high. 4. A step-by-step plan: what to search on seats.aero, what to set alerts for, and when to transfer points (never before finding the seat). Rule: never suggest I spend extra money to earn more points.

The rule that protects you

Never transfer points before you've found the seat. Transfers are one-way — if the availability disappears, your points are stranded in a programme you can't use. Find the seat on seats.aero first, then move the points, then book. In that order, every time.

Don't have points yet? Start with the earning system in the Free Systems tab.
What I Actually Use

The cards and apps behind the systems.

Cards are subject to status and carry annual fees. Points rates, bonuses and status matches change constantly — check the current offer before you apply.
